Thank you for the request! We’re working on the new Bound-Creator right now. Our idea is to set the map to the roughly estimated location of the user (by ip range). Would that be a good solution?
It seems like there are different scenarios to consider.
When someone goes to the website and sees the map, the IP address is probably the best you can do. It could default to the Actionbound headquarters whenever there is a problem in obtaining a location. This would be for vistors who are not logged in. Seems like a lot of work to make the site a little more user friendly for new visitors who have not made an account. Maybe you should just leave it centered on Berlin.
For website visitors that are logged in, I would much rather see the map, starting at a point that I select in my profile. You could benefit by gathering data of bound creators based on that location.
