I’ve been selecting selecting text from the forum and translating it to English in order to learn more about Actionbound. Forgive me if I ask about something that is already covered in German elsewhere in the forum because I have not read everything.
I would like to create this topic for open discussion so that I can share some thoughts of my own and hear from others on a variety of points. I made one topic so that I don’t flood the forum with numerous topics. Anyone else should feel free to add to this topic thread if you like.

For starters, when I go to the main page, and select „Public Bounds,“ I see a map of Germany covered by countless Actionbound markers. Could that be changed? If a user is logged in, it would be nice to set the map to a personalized starting point and zoom level.
I like the ability to test a bound without it being recorded in the statistics for the bound. I have used the test or trial run feature where you get the QR code on your computer screen, hold your phone up to it, and use the Actionbound app to scan the image.
I tried to do a trial run or test my bound from android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) via Chrome. I get to the point where a QR code is displayed, but, you guessed it, I don’t know how to scan a QR code with my phone if the image is actually ON my phone. Is there a way to test a bound without going through the QR code?
From a beta tester perspective, here is what I see on my phone:
So, partly a question, and partly a request. How do we test a bound without scanning the temporary QR code that is generated? Could the test feature be changed so that the initial QR code step is eliminated?
I would like more control of this automatically generated e-mail. For starters, I would like to change the language. I would like the email title to be in English, but I would also like it to contain the title of the bound.
Can we add a feature to the bound settings to write our personalized bound result letter? The preferred links and credits can be added to the end of our bound’s customized letter.
On the app, on the search page, could you allow the user to sort the search results in various ways? Such as by proximity, overall rating, bound title, etc?
If I search for „English,“ then select one of the results to read more information, then go back, the search results are gone. I’d like to go back one screen to my search results.
The search page has no possibility to filter the results right now. To do this, you have to use “Bounds nearby” (proximity), “Top rated” (overall rating). Combining of search options is not possible so far but we are going to optimize this as soon as we have updated the Bound-Creator.
That sure is an issue we have to fix. I added it to our issue tracker.
