Need Help Creating a Fun Scavenger Hunt for Teens on Actionbound

Hey everyone!

I’m working on setting up a digital scavenger hunt for a group of teenagers (ages 13–16) using Actionbound, and I’d really appreciate some help from those more experienced with the platform. The idea is to mix educational content with fun, using QR codes and location-based tasks. I’ve already mapped out a few locations and clues, but I’m struggling with creating interactive challenges that keep them engaged.

Has anyone here created a similar bound? How do you balance between fun and learning without making it feel like schoolwork? Also, any tips on using the quiz and missions feature effectively?

The theme is tech awareness, and I’d like to subtly introduce safe digital practices too. (For example, one of the hints might link to a simple explainer on what is cybersecurity, just to plant the seed.)

Would love to see examples or templates if anyone’s willing to share. Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,
Oliver

Hi oliverlewis,

your question is about storytelling.

Maybe you get your inspiration from some public bounds —> here

A competition between teams motivates the children to stay at the game. Even a detective story is always exciting. Or the search for a treasure.

There are also some interesting tutorials on YouTube

(some videos are in german language, maybe there are subtitles or auto translation)

If you have no idea at all for a framework story, maybe you ask a AI for suggestions for a story plot.
The suggestions I received were rather poor, but at least they were a starting point.

I hope I was able to help a little further. :slightly_smiling_face:
Best regards
