On the app, when viewing the bound information, as a player, I would like to see if the bound has been successfully completed once. Furthermore, I’d like to see the username or team name used by the first player who completed it and the time and date, too. I’d like to see the player names of the first ten completions. And I would also like to see the top ten completions as ranked by number of points.
As a creator of a bound in the area, those stats would interest me.
As a bound owner, I could use that information to award prizes to players. That could be used to build interest in my community and draw new and returning players to Actionbound.
Here’s a screen shot of where I think would be a good place to show those details:
Thanks for these valuable suggestions again, Marc!
That’s a nice feature. Do you think we should exclude the Bound creator? Only possible if he / she is logged in.
I think this load of information could distract the user at this place. But maybe below the “Start Bound” button?
Did you know that you can view these stats on the Bound page? Thats https://en.actionbound.com/bound/Demo45142 for your example. As a Bound owner, you can see detailed statistics at https://en.actionbound.com/stats/Demo45142
Yes, the results should exclude the bound creator. Good point. And, any “test” runs should not be counted for stats, obviously.
You’re right, that could be distracting on that page. I think the bound title and image at top is a must, followed by some basic info, then the “start bound” button, and then scroll down to the ranking star graphics, then a few top ten lists–first 10 to finish (rank, team name, date and time), top 10 (fastest) by time it took to complete, and top 10 by points.
Maybe include the first to finish in the basic details when bounds are in a list (like when searching for a bound).
Yes, I found the bound owner stats page. I love statistics! I could go on and on with ideas of how the statistics could be used.
